At the Route view level the qualification levels 0(Entry Level) to 3 now have a pathway that can be selected by the user. (This feature is not currently supported by the Business, Administration & Finance career routes)
To make use of this feature the Silverlight Add-on is required for your browser otherwise the standard views will be seen. The page will automatically determine whether your browser supports this Add-on. If it does not then the following image will show in the Route Selection Bar:

See below on how to install this Add-on
Standard Route View (showing Route Selection Bar)
In the Standard Route shown above the path (red, green or blue depending on route selected) follows the qualification levels down. In the Route Selection Bar at the top there is a button that allows the user to swap to the Active Route view. In the Standard Route view moving the mouse over a Level label through which the path passes reveals a description of related information in the panel on the right hand side (not shown in this image).
Active Route View (showing Route Selection Bar)
When viewing the Active Route View the button in the Route Selection Bar has changed to 'View Standard Path' that enable you to toggle between the two views. When first viewed the path (red, green or blue depending on route selected) shows the default path i.e. the same path as the Standard Route. With the Active Route View if you click a different Level label on the same level or below the path shown adjusts to match your selection. If you click a Level label above the default start level the path shown reverts to the Standard Route View. In the Active Route View clicking on a Level label also shows exemplar related information in the panel on the right hand side (not shown in this image).
If the Silverlight Add-on is installed on your computer you should see a message to that effect below otherwise it can be added by clicking the image that appears.
Installing this Add-on requires permission to install add-ons on your local machine. This may not be allowed if your browser is on a machine which is behind a firewall and a school, college or institution policy does not allow such installations. Consult a Tutor or Network Administrator to determine such a status. If the Add-on cannot be installed the routes will just be viewable in Standard Route mode.
